__Why does this world's "society," have so many "public performance icons," and yet few of this society, would be able to mention just one of Mandela's civil and humane accomplishments. We all need to >walk< more.
__Well put Gillena. _m

Three-tiered skirts flirting in sunny streets is a wonderfully evocative image! I can both see and hear this poem!

I love the image of birds putting sound back into daytime, Gillena. I like the new sign and wonder whether it means the park has a new name or just a new sign.

You said much in these few words. Love that they renamed the park after Mandela.

'Ginko' is a Japanese word, and I am surprised to find it is used as it is in English.

I had to look up the gingko tree and was delighted with all the information that I found: "Yinxing (Silver Almond Tree)" - now I see the connections.
I loved the "three tiered skirts flirt" - such a beautiful image.
