breath of song sing praise -
Christ we remember again
with those palms we clutch

The word Hosanna, from Hebrew culture, means save, rescue, savior. "Hosanna" was the shout of adoration made in recognition of the Messiah-ship of Jesus on his triumphal entry into Jerusalem, "Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!" It is used in the same way in Christian praise.

A lovely post and beautiful haiku - so appropriate to the day. I thought that your use of the word 'breath' in the haiku was inspired. Within the context of the piece, I found it to be emotive and nuanced.
