  10. Having lived in Los Angeles I know about earth quakes. They are frightning, even the small ones.
    However, a writer always gains from any experience, and your haiga is proof of that.
    One of my earliest haiku was written after an earthquake:

    the predawn quake
    jolts us out of bed
    to view the sunrise
