how goes this night then
unsleeping dead and hapless
ravens to tapping
witching hour comes and goes

I do like the way people have got so creative with their masks.

We (I) worry lately that wearing our masks will make us a flashpoint for others' frustrations...so far, we've been fortunate. I take comfort from your poems about them. Also, I love the spin of your Muse poem...it's like Halloween confounded by heavy gusts. :)

It seems like, if one has to wear a mask, why not wear one that's fashionable? :)

I hope that with both the church and the school having Halloween events we won't have any tapping at our door. Then my son and I can eat all the gummy bears.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that my son is an adult and we are in a small town. Kids at the schools he went to were, overall, better behaved than the kids at the schools I went to but it would still make me nervous. At the schools I went to, the kids would have gladly pulled the masks off of kids they didn't like and spit in their faces.
Generation gaps😁 here it mandatory not wearing a mask is unlawful

We live in an over-55 community now, so there will be no little goblinsd at our door. The witching hour has yet to come in my part of the world, but with no little goblins it will be quietly marked.
ReplyDeleteOf course today's kyoka is all fiction 🙃here too. It is 2:23 PM as i reply to you.

Here some are still fighting over whether or not making masks mandatory for children in school is a violation of their rights. It's a mess. Some people have no sense.
