After World War II and the presence of US military bases, discarded industrial 55-gallon oil drums became readily available to creative hearts and hands and so today, there is the steel pan, the only major acoustic musical instrument invented in the 20th century. ENJOY THE MUSIC

Love the music. Those cloud shots are so different. Several great haikus today, especially "steel pan day." What a wonderful music inspired summertime entry you gave us for Erika's theme at AJJ. Happy AFFF and FFO, too.

ReplyDeleteFantastic post! Love your picture of you reading your storybooks! The food looks delicious and love the sky photos very much. So wonderful and creative! Have a beautiful Friday and a lovely weekend Gillena!
ReplyDelete..."do your best with what you have" is wonderful advice!
ReplyDeleteI really liked that banana fronds haiku. I can even hear them...And your summer fun piece is great. Dancing is always fun, but outdoors and in the summer when you get all hot...it's a great memory for me. (Even though I still dance around the house.:) ) Thanks for linking up at AJJ and have a super Friday and start to your weekend. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteDo your best is great advice. My favorite pic is the one of you reading your book. Blessings!
