Churches are opening this weekend in the new normal phase of face masks and social distancing.

I bought some lovely dasheen leaves on The Western Main Road (here, in T&T, we say in everyday talk 'callaloo bush' ) and i cooked a pot of Callaloo yesterday. Also, with The Rains the Plumeria blossoms in my garden, are large and full and happy looking.

  21. Callaloo. I assume some type of greens? I would probably love them. I even like poke salad, picked carefully of course. Raised in the country and I do remember those shirtless boys and dirt roads.

  22. I really love the images your haiku paints. The freedom of playing around with skin exposed to rain. I can almost hear the laughter.

I hope you're having a really good week, Gillena.
