Corpus Christi
Corpus Christi translates to mean body of Christ, this is a public holiday in Trinidad and Tobago, The Thursday after Trinity Sunday; the folk culture sets this day aside as the start of the rainy season and a day for planting house crops like pigeon peas, corn, and hot peppers. The catholic religious sets this day aside to process through the streets praying and singing hyms in reverence to Jesus Christ who offered himself to his disciples at The Last Supper and commemorates the institution of the Holy Eucharist corpus christi-
