I think of my , school days as god days... life was simple these days and we mostly had great times.
I love the juxtaposition of the poem, the quote, and your mother's birthday--they speak so much about each other! We do have to be reminded to slow down and be in the moment...happy birthday to your Mom--maybe she knew this secret!
