Bill; thank you for the critique; i think maybe i should have used another phrase; but pile up here means not a collision, but simply a traffic jam, vehicles caught in a queue in a standstill for a short time; an interruption in the natural flow of traffic; glad you stopped by
Around here, a "pile-up" is a multi-vehicle collision. Is that what you intend?
