I have counted 8 blossoms on my Desert Rose

wake swaddled buds
sunshine is there already -
warmth of welcome

❧✿❧

those hands that seek
soothe cradle and cajole -
tag them mother

❧✿❧

to sleep a dream -
sunsets scrawl their golden light
before cobalt night
