Goodbye Month of May. The rain teased us a little this week. It was nice to see damp soil once more. The Met Office declared the start of the Rainy Season here, but we are still far from torrents. Sunday Smiles

Adorable. Made me want to visit my grandkids and read to them. Hope it rains again soon. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh yes. The moon might be hazy, but it makes for lovely stories :) Especially ghost stories I think.
ReplyDeleteThe second one, i can see my own with their grandparents.
ReplyDeleteGillena, i enjoyed your poem very much: especially the comparison of the hazy moon with your granddaughter's finger...makes me think of Mariah's "Close My Eyes" from her Butterfly CD. cheers!
ReplyDeleteWhat would storytime be without the pointing finger! I'll bet you are happy then!
ReplyDeleteGillena,
ReplyDeleteI love escaping into a storybook with my little grandson too..He adds a wider perspective for me...Loved the hazy moon's participation.
