Wow-how lucky are you to have something made by your grandfather. And it inspired such an interesting piece. Great question. Have a wonderful weekend:)
ReplyDeleteGood one.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful Gillena. I have a very old watering can that my Grandfather used in his garden. He passed at 105 years old a while back and had been using it for ever. Somehow it was given to me, probably because I'm in the garden too. Very nice job on your work. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing indeed. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post, how lovely to have that planter from your grandfather. Hugs, Valerie

Superb haiku, Gillena, it really resonates at this time of year when there are so many twittering birds in the garden. Your abstracted picture is something quite different, nice work.

what a blessing to have this treasure from your grandfather! love your haiku- I heard birds this morning, but did I come up with such a fine haiku? no, but I'm glad you did.
ReplyDeleteDelightful little planter. And your haiku is enchanting.
ReplyDeleteIt's a charming planter made even more special because the artist himself is your grandfather.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure you have there. I hope you can pass it on to Zuri!
