['The Book Review' gouache paints on water-colour paper 5"x7"]
We meet to discuss the Alchemist. i had not yet read it, so i collect a copy to read after. What i did though, was familiarize myself with the novel, through internet searches. Not having been to book club meeting for quite a few months, i am glad of my decision to attend when i get there, armed, with my dish of just cooked cornmeal coo coo with ochroes. So, when codes of: fantasy, Personal Legends, Urmin and Thummim, Soul of the World, Language of the World, Elixir of Life, omens, maktub; are tossed into the web of discussion, no way am i lost.

What a great idea to review the book before you go... now don't make that a habit haha. I like your art expressing your week. Very clever. So much of the time I try to find something to paint but forget what is right in front of me.
