The haiku and the photo work so beautifully together. Great synergy. Cool relief literally floats from the piece.
ReplyDeleteSilly me! I missed the shadows the first time around!
ReplyDeleteI think you'd be glad of our chilly wind today that's carry rain with it. Yet again I enjoyed reading your work.
ReplyDeleteWherever we all live there are always pros and cons whether it be heat or cold, rain or snow and even the driest of climates to test us. However home is still home and we love it. So your readers will see the banana plant and its shade and be jealous yet would still yearn for home eventually. Great haiku Gillena.
ReplyDeleteThose banana fronds look and sound cool and shady, Gillena. Do you always have your lunch break there?
