tinkle of windchimes
my head turns to see azure -
the opened window

There are three significant birthdays for me in October. Today is one of them - it's my Goddaughter's birthday. Happy Birthday Meeks!!!
I was browsing some Pinterest fashions only yesterday. Seems gingham prints are back, in a big way. I remember wearing a brown gingham print dress for my goddaughter's christening, wayyyyyy back when.

This is transcendent - wind chimes against azure. Delicate ... fragile, even. Such is life. A lovely haiku.

I think windchimes are the most mystical objects I've encountered. Especially on a lazy afternoon when the sun is shining to the side and I've just come home from a hard day of work at McDonald's or Burger King's. Those were the days of innocence and freedom. Sighs. Great imagery Gillena. thanks.

There is always something reassuring about the tinkle of windchimes for me. It must go back many years to my pre-teens when I suddenly became aware of many things.
