This is lovely as it reminded me of walking by the sea in the evening and all its bluster and flourish has gone and was gently lapping on the shore not needing to show off to anyone!
ReplyDeleteAha! Robin. Actually, returning home from a wedding last week, and my daughter driving, in a traffic jam, we both had enough time to savour the blue moon losing its roundness over the sea.

This is just stunning. One gets the impression of nature reclaiming this place on earth - the bathers having departed. There is a timeless quality to this haiku that is lovely and, for me, quite moving.

The image of the "tired sea" reminds me of my own weariness at the end of yet another school year. Looking forward to summer vacation!
