ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be distracted by such beauty. Have a happy week.
ReplyDeleteThis got me googling Woodford Square. What a fascinating history. Loved the way you placed the Golden Poui (which, I gather from my googling - in very much associated with Port of Spain) against that history, here. This is very cleverly crafted and - really - a stunning haiku.
ReplyDeleteyes, these flowers would distract anyone passing by. what a lovely haiku. :)
ReplyDeletei had to look up "poui", whether it is comparable to our rain trees. the poui definitely flowers better, by a long mile.
A wonderful distraction Gillena.
