The birds are rather quiet here, I think most of them have flown south for the winter and the few that remain have lost their voice to the cold winds.

My wife and I were avid birdwatchers, well she was, I merely went along with a camera and helped search the unlikely places where the birds might be. Every sighting had to be confirmed by checking in the bird guides that we always carried with us. I miss those days and your post today brought back a lot of memories Gillena.
