Our Catholic Community here in T&T turns to participation in Holy Mass via television until our churches open again. Our schools and Universities are closed. Our churches are locked down and the Watchword is WASH as COVID 19 takes its toll across the globe. To date there are 2 confirmed cases of persons ill as a result of the virus in Trinidad.

Virtual communications are a gift in these troubling times. Our local groups are doing the same--getting together via video-conference and such.

ReplyDeleteVirtual church here as well. Schools closed. All gatherings of over 250 cancelled. Both my children are in the health care field (respiratory therapist and pharmacist) so I'm concerned for their safety. Stay safe, Gillena.
The temple my husband and kids go to are offering similar services.

This literally brought a tear, Gillena. Oh, these times we live in. Many, many things shut down - or shutting down - here in British Columbia as well. Sometime I never would have imagined in my wildest imaginings.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!

It is frustrating that church services and other events are becoming out of bounds or cancelled completely. However better to be safe at home and not risk catching the virus even though we still have essentials to go out for. I take a face mask with me everywhere...just in case!
