Having to wait for bread and many other things has become the new normal. Keep your distance, Gillena! :)

Social distancing is necessary as a precautionary measure though I hope we won't need it sometime in the future.

Trader Joe's near me was the first market that I saw was implementing the distancing guidelines. Most places have followed suit, thank goodness. We have to flatten that curve.

Lines that seem to go forever are definitely a feature of this time. Yesterday, my nephew told me that the line to the pharmacy wrapped around the block. There were about 10 people, trying to keep 6 feet apart.
ReplyDeleteI saw TV footage of people in St Georges, Grenada in day long lines having to return home without getting to the entrance

We have these queues here too, I'm told – but have not been out to see as I am lucky enough to get things delivered. I like your use of the word 'fresh' here.

Ahhh! Fresh bread. I would make it myself but I can't get flour and yeast anywhere. Suddenly, everyone is a baker.
