  1. I'm an introvert, yet even I miss those sorts of big, fun events.

  6. Those days will return but we must not be in a hurry as that will result in a return of the virus that will be even more difficult to eradicate.

  8. I’m not a lover of crowds, but I do miss the cricket of my childhood, when I used to watch my dad play.

  11. I wonder if the carefree pre-Covid days will ever come again, or will we always feel a bit threatened when in a crowd. Sad to think of the sports events with no fans, the races with no people in the stands, the Olympics with no admiring throngs. Let us hope those days will return.

  15. "Those were the days, my friend. We sang and ... and thought they'd never end." Gillena, do you remember those days? I've only been to pickup games in the parks in London, not with stadiums. Two times I was in a strident "riot" after pep rallies. We would flood Main Street of Lincoln, Nebraska with students, then all head up to ... I was 17 and 18 those times, at the University of Nebraska.
