behind my mask
appreciation breathes in
a colour
not seen
in my garden
the warm of sunlight
caressing my face
as i walk
in this new normal phase
lockdown now a memory
at the street vendor
things we took for granted
buying fruit
celebrating a new day with
huge helpings of hope stirred in
