island people we
blessed by waves courting beach sands -
rainbows colour ooze
a lovers embrace
these encircling waters -
limit our sphere
springs from the mountain
fathom our amazement -
as our eyes lift
spring of true solace
quiet the mind and soul like
a blessing bequeath
back to the lover
to be cuddled in embrace -
ocean abundance

Reading about waves, and going "back" to a lover, made me feel like the tide going in and out! I so love the beach, sunny vacation ones, or my foggy ones.

There is nothing quite like living where you fit in nicely with the comfort, the climate and the people of your home region. Pesonally I have enjoyed living almost everywhere, even once at a popular seaside resort Brighton in England. My wife was happy too as it was but a short walk down to the beach with the young children. Later on we emigrated to Australia for next to nothing and have been there ever since.
