Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was an American activist in the civil rights movement best known for her pivotal role in the Montgomery bus boycott. The United States Congress has honored her as "the first lady of civil rights" and "the mother of the freedom movement". [Wikipedia]

    There are children on my street who ride the bus to school ... when it comes down our street and stops to pick them up, my heart skips a beat remembering all those days so many years ago when it was my children. Thanks for the sweet reminder, Gillena.
