What's there to smile about today? Thank God for the grace of poetry.
Fill us at daybreak with your kindness [Ps 90.14]

BLOG HOPPING TODAY WITH
mirror mirror in the forest fiesta
where fairies spin tales of magic
whose face will see the sunlight
streaming through bird whistles
as day breaks among leaves falling
as if seasons were a mere plaything
of a jaunty wind journeying through
a maze of wondrous happenstance
whose feet trod the distance of sunsets
waning to a morning moon

Love the relief of the first poem and the second one is enchanting! It's interesting to think about what might be dancing, unseen, in the mirror.

I've always had a love for the garden and forest fairies. That's the three fourth's part British Isle blood in me. Lovely. Our nurseries here in southeast Texas have ready made fairy gardens, even miniature sizes for inside.

Mesmerizing. You make us disappear into the forest's life just as the persona.
