  11. Hi Gillena! Your figs look delightful. Do you also eat the blossom? I don’t think I like them until I eat them. Our banana plants haven’t had fruit in several years, and when they start sprouting, it’s nearly time for the frost. One day.

    This particular variety is grown to be harvested green and cooked in curries, salads and various other ways. The flowers, no they are not eaten.
