Growing up, during the Lenten Season, we were not allowed to sing calypsoes or dance. However on St Joseph's Day, we took a break on that day so those activities were allowed, then back to the Lenten tradition of abstinence after that day.😊gillena

  1. All very good Haiku for me, Gillena. My likes are too down in order of liking. I hadn't known of St. Joseph Day, I learned. I hope to learn about the man and his miracle, google should know.

  8. We have St Patricks Day in Lent...which everybody celebrates down under. I did not know of St Joseph's day.So I guess you don't celebrate St Patrick's day.

  9. We celebrate St Patrick's day as a church related, not as a national observance and as well St Joseph's day.
