Saturday 5th July, i went with The St James Public Library Book Club to a tour (in a maxi taxi); of Paramin, a village located on one of the highest points of western area of the Northern Range in Trinidad🇹🇹 which forms part of the Maraval area, a sprawling, steep and mountainous village whose residents have traditionally been farmers, famous for producing herbs like chives, thyme and parsley. On the way to the 'lookout' we stopped at a tiny museum curated by a lovely lady fondly referred to as 'Aunty Julia'. What a fun tour we had. We stopped on our way back, to buy seasonings and wine.
