NOTE: I did not know about Beltane, i did a google search.
Beltane is an ancient Gaelic May Day festival celebrated on May 1st (or midway between the spring equinox and summer solstice) that signifies the start of summer. Meaning "bright fire" or "fire of Bel," it is a fire festival traditionally associated with fertility, purifying rituals, the protection of livestock, and celebrating the return of growth and life.

Your haiku is lovely. We need rain badly, and I am waiting for hummingbirds to return. I bet you have many types compared to the one we have (ruby-throated). And oh fruit trees. They are definitely a gift for all of us. Have a wonderful Sunday. hugs-Erika
