  5. The sadness of those who have passed is balanced with the excellence of their service. I like the words your haiku (am I using the right term?) with the statue centered in the photo surrounded by the trees, like sentries of those who passed.

    we observe Memorial Day here in T&T in November,
    wreaths are laid at the cenotaph in an official ceremony
