connecting
to the source of creation
thankfulness

the day basks in goodness
for so it was firstly made

Christmas music
there's joy in the waiting
again this year

recurring dawn birds yet
sometimes a new thrill

yellow ixoras
where bees breakfast
undisturbed

raindrops sparkle for dew
now no longer glistens

umbrella opened
rain pellets drum their song...
early morning walk

the green of the mountains
like the answer to a prayer

the young man
at the fast food outlet...
his smile

ripened avocado
no need for butter

nightfall
scent of the moon
out of reach

only the twinkle of stars
catch the fantasy of dreams

    I like so very much what you did with this prompt. Each stanza resonates with me ..... each is a beautiful image worth considering. I like especially the 'the green of the mountains like an answer to a prayer.' Thanks for taking part in Poetry Jam!
