  1. indeed, the juggler does capture the "awe" lovely haiku! After writing mine, I watched videos of street performers juggling for an hour...awe is the proper word:)

    Magyar, the theme 'juggler' was the prompt distilled from the poem, i stuck closer to the poem rather than the image in composing my haiku; happy this sparked your interest


    Juggler
    A ball will bounce; but less and less. It's not
    A light-hearted thing, resents its own resilience.
    Falling is what it loves, and the earth falls
    So in our hearts from brilliance,
    Settles and is forgot.

  16. Red Ryder was a local who used to awe theaters full of magicians at our conventions. We always gave him a long-standing ovation...He was found at too young an age stabbed to death near his home a few years ago....He is missed...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOkhtrySDZI
