I am sure we will remember this year for many reasons; not the least of which is either the adherence or refusal to use masks when there is a risk of contact!

Deletetwo vivid poems--I think I'm as lonely for the streets as they might be for traffic and the mesmerizing daydream of girl and mountain was a good healing vision.

I really like of of these, Gillena. The first because it speaks of the current times, and I can relate. The others because of the rich imagery and fruit for thought.
ReplyDeleteHave a very happy Sunday.
We need dreams and fantasy to help us through times of reality.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!

Lockdown days fit in with the Advent yearning for a Savior, indeed.
ReplyDeleteI had a mellow Sunday...saying the last goodbye to a cousin who'd been dying for years before coronavirus, readjusting to the sudden return of hearing in what's been my "bad" ear for 30 years, writing a long gloomy blog post and a quick goofy one. (How the other scheduled post popped up in the middle of the night, I'm not sure...anyway, that makes this a very wordy Sunday.)
Thanks for your appreciation Priscilla

With empty streets I feel we become more observant. Perhaps that is a blessing in dark, pandemic days.
