Love the idea of Narcissus being a warning (or another separation between people/animals) as the wolf drinks. We're just starting to get out and about here--it's weird that I worry about people being angry that we're wearing masks (although everyone behind the counter is wearing them). Unsettled is the new normal, I suppose.

I love that last line Gillena! It really draws one into the image. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love the wolf drinking of himself.
ReplyDeleteI'm rather glad you have lockdowns under the circumstances. My grocery stores all have signs stating masks are required, but they quit enforcing it! A couple asked for masks at one the other day, to be told the store was "out." It's up to stores now, we don't have to wear them in most places.

They've relaxed the COVID restrictions quite a bit here, in New York City. But many of us still wear our masks, and I am glad for that. I think things get better in T&T, too.

Beware of drinking in ones own reflection
ReplyDeleteMost restrictions here have been lifted here, but many still wear masks in the big box stores and smaller stores have their own rules. I carry a mask in my purse at all times. I hope things get better for you there soon.

How we hoped Covic would be over in a year but it is still with us. Even Australia's largest city Sydney is in lockdown.

I like your take on the image and also like how the "manipulation" of the image reflects the manipulator. Creative!
