Yes, a special day of the year!
I remember Palm Sunday when i was a girl. We were all given a palm frond to take home.
Many will remember the journey today!
I looked it up .. the first day of Holy Week and the Sunday before Easter ❤️ Lovely write, Gillena!
Some hymns are so timeless and evocative - and encapsulate so very impactfully, the memories of various church rites and celebrations. Your use of the word 'echo' speaks to that power eloquently. A lovely haiku, Gillena.
A special poem for a special day. This is lovely Gillena!
Thanks for dropping by Mary
