Red and black beetles soon appeared to feast upon the bothersome insects and the people began calling the helpers "The Beetle of Our Lady." It is said that the beetles' red wings represent the red cloak Mary is often pictured wearing in biblical paintings, and the spots are representative of the seven joys and seven sorrows of the Virgin

I had no black
so i paint the hair yellow
self portrait
my granddaughter's masterpiece
and her candid narrative

a plate of french fries
why leave the excess ketchup
food of the Gods surely
the taste of only ketchup
I breath again innocence

Can you fasten the harness of the Pleiades, or untie Orion's bands?
(Job 38:31. Jerusalem Bible)

November is the month of the Pleiades reaching its highest spot in the sky on or around the 21st of the month. Also there are reports of Comet Erasumus having appeared this November  after 2500 years.

Our challenge at Dverse to write a poem in the  Pleiades form

SENTINEL
Seven ladies giggled in the night
Sisters, they watched the round moon
Silly girls of wastrel giggling glee
Snickering at what a big fat orb
Shy moon turned out to be
So they teased and laughed heartily
Still the moon guards our night
