BLOG HOPPING TODAY WITH

the empty wine glass -
a tale of evening longing
to rest in dream's lore

❧✿❧
the empty wine glass
stands forlorn empty of cheer -
some tears mingled in

a tale of evening longing -
her ruby lips pout
her broken heart weeps

to rest in dream's lore
the colours of sunset wanes -
she denies this day

Denial - a troiku © gillena cox 2021

  26. “she denies this day” ... I love that line so much.

This one: “her ruby lips pout” ... has me imagining a remix of Dorothy, time-traveling by smacking her lips. :)

  28. The melancholy is so strong in your troiku. The kitty does look wistful. Great capture of the mood in the photo.
