Goodbye Month of May. The rain teased us a little this week. It was nice to see damp soil once more. The Met Office declared the start of the Rainy Season here, but we are still far from torrents. Sunday Smiles

Ah, when it is cool outside, it is indeed nice to stay inside and read!

That's a lovely image..child's pointing finger...
How important it is to recapture our own childhood by being with, talking to, reading to and of course being young again ourselves with them.
I hope this year is no damage by rain!

Adorable. Made me want to visit my grandkids and read to them. Hope it rains again soon. Take care.
Oh yes. The moon might be hazy, but it makes for lovely stories :) Especially ghost stories I think.
The second one, i can see my own with their grandparents.
Gillena, i enjoyed your poem very much: especially the comparison of the hazy moon with your granddaughter's finger...makes me think of Mariah's "Close My Eyes" from her Butterfly CD. cheers!
What would storytime be without the pointing finger! I'll bet you are happy then!
Gillena,
I love escaping into a storybook with my little grandson too..He adds a wider perspective for me...Loved the hazy moon's participation.

"hazy moon" reminds me of one of mine that was published at Tiny Words a long time ago
