1857

Earlier this year, Chrissi Villa and myself, we did a book swap. I sent her a signed copy of my book 'The Little Seed And His Brother' for her goddaughter. She sent me a signed copy of her book 'Mud Spots and Candy Sprinkles' for my granddaughter.
My granddaughter Zuri, never settles for just one reading of 'Mud Spots and Candy Sprinkles'

When the end turns into again in an excited way it is joyous - they look like books you would definitely want to enjoy over and over

I think this is a piece that sounds true in the mind of every child. Around here, the choice is Blueberry Girl, by Neil Gaiman. My stepdaughter and I have read that one again and again and again... She just loves it. And I love your poem. ♥

Oh those ending words describe what happens when we have read a good book...again!

I think again can be something good instead of ends... :-)

Love when the end translates into 'again' and that this happens over and over! In other words, life continues to go on! Nice.

I love this. Made me chuckle as I thought of my granddaughter who is never satisfied with one reading of anything.

Oh how I love this.

THIS is why I love short poetry. It can have such a lasting impact.

That togetherness and love experienced in story telling/reading is two way and it is no wonder that little ones don't want it to end.

The End translates into again.

I read this as a child's response to a seemingly wonderful book as yours Gillena. Endless bedtime readings because it is just funtastic!

A delightful post and your words: wise and knowing. I think you are well schooled in the ways of books. Smiles.
