grandma and Zuri watch them
eat and eat and eat



striped caterpillars -
Zuri's question for grandma
do they grab crayons



striped caterpillars -
a gust of wind dancing leaves
soon to be eaten

striped caterpillars -
sun patches heat a paved walk
for mocking bird songs

striped caterpillars -
segments of memories steer
a path to the beach
