['The Book Review' gouache paints on water-colour paper 5"x7"]

We meet to discuss the Alchemist. i had not yet read it, so i collect a copy to read after. What i did though, was familiarize myself with the novel, through internet searches. Not having been to book club meeting for quite a few months, i am glad of my decision to attend when i get there, armed, with my dish of just cooked cornmeal coo coo with ochroes. So, when codes of: fantasy, Personal Legends, Urmin and Thummim, Soul of the World, Language of the World, Elixir of Life, omens, maktub; are tossed into the web of discussion, no way am i lost.

I really like your art, you know that already. I was chuckling when you wrote that you read up on the book from the internet before you went to book club. I love that! :) Hey what ever works. Glad you had a good time.

What a great idea to review the book before you go... now don't make that a habit haha. I like your art expressing your week. Very clever. So much of the time I try to find something to paint but forget what is right in front of me.

What a neat painting with all the ladies talking! We females are such Chatty Cathys, aren't we? Your haiku poetry is always a delight to read.

Good for you for preparing before going to the discussion! Nothing worse than showing up at a group to find most haven't read the book and the discussion goes nowhere.

Hi Gillena, so happy to see your art for the 29 faces!
Please add a Label in the posts, like any other Label, and I will fix your entry in the Mr Linky, so you only need one entry to show all the posts, but I can only do it if you have a Label lol
