Thirteen nuances in the silence of pre dawn

I
silence of the wind-
another blossom torn
from the Plumeria

II
what the winking stars
tell of lovers' hearts -
the silence keeps

III
except for the moon -
silence and keyboard taps
my companions

IV
the house gecko -
a movement on the wall quick
as a shadow

V
reading at night -
a page turns in tune
with the silence

VI
the wall clock ticks -
against a background of silence
its rythm stays

VII
awaiting the din
of birdsongs -
pre dawn

VIII
pre dawn -
no sound from the roosters
up in the mountain

IX
sway of leaves store -
silence and the wait
of bird songs

X
tree silhouettes -
the wind plays lightly
among the leaves

XI
drawn curtains -
pre dawn holds a silent pledge
onto itself

XII
words
in deep silence held -
in trust of poems

XIII
soft light of dawn
the songs of birds called
to delete the silence

So many lovely moments. Birds "delete the silence." Ha! and "a page turns in tune"! I love that! Clearly you are intimate with this time of day and keep it "in trust of poems." Wonderful!

Oh, how I love the moon being at the beginning of your list of exceptions! May the silence be a comforting one--or disturbing, if that will help those keyboard-tapping fingers!

Absolutely gorgeous! And don't mind when silence is deleted by bird songs.

What a peaceful moment there right before the world awakes. We used to have these roosters tgat would travel to our yard from a neighboring farm just to crow outside my window.

Delete makes for such an interesting word in that last one. Begging notice.
