SUNDAY SMILES
What's there to smile about today? Thank God for the grace of poetry.

BLOG HOPPING TODAY WITH
marigold in the wild the fox's eyes
smell of rain first lightning streaks
the old shed squeak of a door
when azure returns absent clouds
more wildflowers tomorrow's sunshine
the smile of a child and running feet
arms of a mother lovingly outstretched
the wind blows tall grasses dancing
across the field mountain peaks
far from our dreams a horizon

A lovely tumble of imagery in your poem, Gillena. It read much like a cleave poem, where both parts can be read independently and still make perfect sense :-)
This was wonderfully constructed and a pleasure to read with vivid images.
