I like that dinner theater haiku. Sky views are the best, aren't they? And I like your face and the bird and hoy you incorporated your drawing in both. Nicely done my friend. Have a super start to your weekend and of course FRiday too. hugs-Erika
It is hard to believe May is already wrapping up, but closing out the month with a fresh batch of ink pencil work is the perfect way to do it. That lunch combo looks incredibly vibrant, too—you can't go wrong with a plate that colorful.
I Paint with inktense in pan format. They liquify in an instant and are brilliant color on paper! I seldom go back to pencils now, but they also liquify with a drop of water in a brush, and blend so well. LOVE inktense. Also, just for fun, I found markers with watercolor that behave well, by Windsor Newton... I quite like them too LeeAnna
I love your art, you are always so clever with it. Yes, May is just about gone. Yum on your meal. I enjoy beets. I have some planted in the garden. Thank you for joining FFO and have a nice weekend.
Dear Gillena, how I'd love to nibble on your "Rice...beet...potato...chicken" right now 😉 - delicious! Last week I was thinking about you a lot because a friendly man who trains at our gym is someone my husband and I often chat with. He told us an experience from his youth (about a bus accident that he said he only survived with God's help). I asked him where the accident happened, or rather, where he lived when he was young, and he answered Trinidad & Tobago... Your haikus were great. I thought one was quite funny. Love how you are using your colored pencils.
Your sky watch reminds me of the wires that run into my house. I envy people who have underground wiring.
That was a great way to add the flower to the face. Great for FFO.
What a great way to incorporate the flower in the bird tattoo. This is another wonderful entry for Mia's theme at AJJ. Have a super Friday.
Happy you dropped by Elizabeth. Thank you for leaving the URL to your post
My apologies, the linky has been put in now
Much love
Thank you, Gillena. I even got my name right this week.
Your use of colors pencils are wonderful and so creative. Thank you for hosting.

I enjoyed your haikus and how you incorporated the pencil work into the bird.
Thank you for hosting.
Love the colors, so happy :-)

Lovely ink art I like its brightness-Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
Your portrait is magnificent. I like how you made it a line drawing, and added that colorful hair piece. Happy FFO!
