furls of sunlight...
the marigold blossoms
a thank you note

broken strips of light
poem away the darkness
name-less stars twinkle

echoes of roosters...
his sense of speech heralds dawn
in connected signs

while goblets from dreams
to vital sheets of morning
drip dew oft her sky

the first cherry blossom
tears of joy roll over my cheeks
I dance in prayer

connecting
to the source of creation
thankfulness

the day basks in goodness
for so it was firstly made

Christmas music
there's joy in the waiting
again this year

recurring dawn birds yet
sometimes a new thrill

yellow ixoras
where bees breakfast
undisturbed

raindrops sparkle for dew
now no longer glistens

umbrella opened
rain pellets drum their song...
early morning walk

the green of the mountains
like the answer to a prayer

the young man
at the fast food outlet...
his smile

ripened avocado
no need for butter

nightfall
scent of the moon
out of reach

only the twinkle of stars
catch the fantasy of dreams

Sunday Savvy 14

Thanksgiving; a pivot of human consciousness, a well revered center in everyone's quoditian space; whether you find yourself climbing the Everest slopes or flinging the rebounding boomerang way down under in Australia; be you shoeless beggarman at a street corner or king in a palace; it resides inherent in our human soul

Thanksgiving is not about Sundays, but Sundays can prove to be santuaries of the soul at this core point of existence; when every other day is bundled into a tight knot of reverence; Sunday can be our unfurling

Its already the second Sunday of 2012; on the eve of our first full moon
