__Metooqua was the name I had given the tree I'd climb, and scan my lake, a part of my homeland in the Berkshire Foothills of Connecticut. Metooqua... my young years adaptation of the New England Native American word... for tree. _m

We planted sunflower seeds this spring and are watching the plants grow. So are the bugs, apparently, as all the leaves have tiny holes in them. Perhaps, they will produce flowers, yet.
