Lovely, Gillena--
This morning a Monarch butterfly greeted me as I came outside--flew right past your "sliver of moon" high over my head--which I would never have noticed so close to the morning sun--until the butterfly showed me! Another gift...

On "enthralled:" Some will question the attribution of a human response ("enthralled") to a sliver of moon, but occasionally the haiku moment is one in which the mind of the observer/poet and the nature of the observed are fused. Here, an inclusive enthralling moment.
