Nestled in the Northern Range, is The Asa Wright Nature Center, a non profit Trust established in 1967 by a group of naturalists and bird-watchers. It protects and conserves wild life in that part of the Arima Valley and surrounding rainforest.
Yesterday, Saturday 4th, a few members of The NALIS St James Book Club joined The NALIS Arima Book Club for a Poetry Picnic and eco trek at the center; we were housed at the Hibiscus Cabin. Today starts the mini series 'Poetry Picnic - Asa Wright Nature Center'

Sounds like a good time. Nice one.
Beautiful, I miss the quiet and the sound of leaves in the tree, where I live now it's traffic central all day almost all night and buses and ambulances and repairs, right now it's quiet i can hear the bird, It's Monday 3h56 am
Spoke too quickly traffic is starting
sure was Anthony; glad you stopped by
much love...
Lorraine; back home from the 'wilds' the first contrast is definitely the roar of traffic, even though we are blessed with bird song in my area; than you for stopping by
much love...
So adore the atmosphere of a rainforest! Always fresh and beautiful!
