Back linking today to Sunday Whirl Wordle #111

Starched Can Cans

a bee
at the throat of a blossom...
sweet rapture

wind through praire sweeps
wild flowers this way that way

eager faces...
the excitement of children
running limbs carry

choo choo..
the train of thought
another busy day

each swirl nimble needle points
in hushed halls where vaults secure

they crave
the passion of
open fields

Gillena,
you are so good at creating poems with the posted words. I've tried a few, but can't seem to get more than 3 or 4 .

Excellent, I love trains and winds and so many beautiful words that you share every day and make it into a story

Nicely penned, Gillena. Beautiful bees, let's hope they survive the onslaught of pesticide that has been decimating their population. Your images are gorgeous.

Oh this poem spoke to me on so many levels. I really enjoyed how you used the prompt words so sparely and yet the entire poem is lush and lovely! Thank you.http://wabisabipoet.wordpress.com/2013/06/02/flying/

Hi Gillena,

I used every word, but I had to use some twice in different haiku.

This is a good exercise.

Adelaide

prairie wind
the nimble swirl
of wild grass

prairie wind
my limbs crave
to vault ahead

wind blown grass
the rapture
of each swirl

words stuck in my throat
I crave being able
to vault obstacles

in the train of memory
I vault through halls
with nimble limbs
