they pattern themselves
willy nilly on the ground
these fallen blossoms
the thunder sounded
yet a baby's cry was heard
from the house next door
it rained and rained lots
a curtain of water set
to the window view
today a sun day

Patterns of light - I love that. These are all so fresh and succinct that each piece can stand alone - and yet, they work beautifully together.
